Effective June 1, 2010, Carolina Crescent Health Plan (Carolina Crescent) was purchased by Absolute Total Care, Inc. On June 1, 2010, all Carolina Crescent members in counties where Absolute Total Care has approval for membership by the South Carolina Department of Health and Human Services (SCDHHS), were enrolled with Absolute Total Care. Carolina Crescent members who live in counties that are not approved by SCDHHS for membership were transferred to another health plan participating in the member's county. Carolina Crescent members who are transferring to Absolute Total Care on June 1, 2010, can contact Absolute Total Care member services at 1-866-433-6041 (TTY 1-866-912-3609).
Carolina Crescent Health Plan members residing in counties that are not approved by South Carolina Health and Human Services (SCDHHS) for membership in Absolute Total Care or Carolina Crescent members wanting to select another health plan should contact South Carolina Healthy Connections Choices at (SCHCC) at 1-877-552-4642 (TTY 1-877-552-4670).
